Terms & Community Guidelines

Evansville Music Scene is a community-run directory for bands, venues, and events in the Evansville tri-state area. By creating an account or submitting content, you agree to these guidelines.

What you can't post or do

• Hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit imagery.
• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of other members.
• Illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity.
• Spam, scams, or deceptive links.
• Impersonating another person, band, venue, or business.
• Content you don't have the rights or permission to post, including someone else's photos or flyers.

Keep listings accurate

Bands, venues, and events you submit should be real and accurately described. Don't create listings for people, places, or shows that don't exist, or claim ownership of a band or venue that isn't yours.

What happens if you don't follow these

Content that breaks these guidelines may be taken down. Depending on the severity, your account may be placed on a watch list — meaning your submissions and edits are held for an administrator to review before they go live — or banned outright. Serious or repeated violations can result in an immediate ban without warning.

Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
